Spring Branch

Spring Branch has trees older than most of the houses standing under them, and lots tight enough that dropping a limb carelessly costs somebody a fence or a car. We set drop zones and rope down what needs roping rather than working fast and hoping.

New construction on old lots is common here, and those big surviving oaks usually need root-zone attention as much as canopy work. We keep mulch off the trunk flare and out of the crown, which sounds small and is not.

Bed rebuilds do a lot of work in Spring Branch, where a fifty-year-old landscape has often outgrown its original lines entirely. Re-cutting edges and laying fresh mulch resets the whole front of the house.
