Shaped, thinned, and cleared before storm season, not after it
Gulf Coast trees grow fast and heavy. Live oaks push limbs over the roofline, water oaks hold dead wood in the canopy, and crepe myrtles turn into a tangle if nobody touches them for two seasons. We trim to the branch collar, take out the dead and crossing wood, lift the canopy off your roof and driveway, and thin it enough that a summer storm blows through instead of against it. Every cut is made where the tree can seal it, and everything we drop gets hauled out the same day.

So the deal is simple: the price you were quoted is the price you pay, everything we cut or tear out leaves with us, and if something about the finished job isn't right, you call and we come back out. It depends on the size of the tree, how much needs to come off, and what is underneath it. That is why the estimate is free and done in person: we look at the actual trees, give you a per-tree price in writing, and that price is what you pay.
Yes, and it is included in the price. Limbs, brush, stripped sod, and old matted mulch all leave with us the same day. We do not leave a pile at the curb for you to deal with.
Late winter through early spring is ideal for most oaks and hardwoods, before the new growth pushes. That said, dead, broken, or roof-rubbing limbs should come off whenever you notice them, and we do storm-season clearance work all summer.
St. Augustine handles our shade and heat best and is what most Katy and Cypress yards run. Bermuda wants full sun and takes traffic well. Zoysia sits in between. We look at your sun, shade, and drainage before recommending one.
Almost always. We run every zone with you, find the broken heads, buried nozzles, cracked lines, and dead valves, and price the repairs before touching anything. Most small repairs get finished the same visit.
